INTRODUCTION
Givicle is the UK’s first workplace giving platform, founded by HR specialist Nicky-Sandhu-Wall, with a clear and powerful purpose: to make generosity part of everyday working life.
Givicle’s platform helps organisations build a culture where support flows naturally - benefiting employees, strengthening teams, and creating a ripple effect of kindness that reaches far beyond the workplace.
Driven by a mission to make financial support more accessible, Givicle is redefining what it means to look after your people. It’s platform offers a discreet, dignified way for employees to access emergency food vouchers when they need it most - whether they’re struggling with rising bills or simply trying to put food on the table.
By easing the pressure of the cost of living crisis for everyday working people and their families, Givicle doesn’t just support in difficult moments - it helps create workplaces where people feel seen, supported and able to thrive.
Brand story
Raised in inner-city Birmingham by a single, hard-working mother, Nicky and her three sisters grew up facing financial hardship. But their home was grounded in kindness, resilience and determination. Her mother instilled a strong work ethic and a deep sense of empathy, while the support of their community - through meaningful small acts - helped Nicky feel valued during the tough times.
With over 20 years’ experience as a HR leader, Nicky has spent her career guiding organisations through complex change. But over time, she became increasingly aware of a growing divide: rising inequality in may and the mounting pressure of the cost of living crisis on employees.
One moment that particularly stayed with her - a colleague daily inflating a worn-out tyre he couldn’t afford to replace. A heart-breaking reminder that in-work poverty is very real.
Nicky began searching for a digital foodbank solution, that employees could access with dignity and discretion. But she quickly realised nothing existed. And with that, Givicle was born.
Brief
Nicky drew inspiration from a bygone era, when companies like Cadbury and John Lewis were known for truly looking after their people and embedding a culture of care into everyday working life.
From this, the brand direction was shaped around the idea of ‘modern nostalgia’ - blending the warmth and values of the past with a forward-thinking approach to ethical workplace innovation. The result needed an identity that feels both familiar and fresh, designed to work seamlessly within a modern, digital ecosystem.
Outcome
We responded by bringing ‘modern nostalgia’ to life through a distinctive visual identity. Inspired by the warm, vintage colour palettes, floral motifs, and expressive typography of the 60s and 70s - an era when most modern social movements began.
The result is bold and characterful - a nostalgic style reimagined with a contemporary edge, standing apart from the polished, tech-heavy look of typical digital platforms. Vintage-inspired elements of layered shadows, organic shapes and playful patterns, run throughout the identity, balanced with clean, highly accessible colours and a clear, legible type. Together they create scroll-stopping content and a unique, platform experience.

Logo Design
The logo brings the idea of giving to life through a simple, confident work-mark paired with a distinctive floral icon. Designed in the brand’s typeface, it visually captures the spirit of giving more.
The icon itself draws on a vintage geometric style, inspired by the Iris flower. In Greek mythology, Iris was the goddess of the rainbow, carrying messages between heaven and earth on the arc of a rainbow - making the symbol a natural expression of wisdom, hope and trust. This meaning carries through history - with Irises being gifted in Victorian times as a way to show gratitude.
